This project was a series of digital videos and sound pieces exploring the disconnect between analog and digital expression. The Psychic Soviets are ones who exist in the analog yet all footage was shot with digital cameras. Then projected through digital projectors. Then reshot through digital cameras. The sounds were created on analog 4-track tape machines then fed into a computer and processed to be played on digital cd players. All packaged in a soiled cardboard box with information sheet that was typed on a type writer. Examples of this series can be found on the videos page of this site.
